hey momma, i know you've had to endure some electro blee beats that your not into as of late, so i brings the comfort food this evening. i got home from a shift today and had the irresistible urge to take my own stinging advice (someone i work with hadn't seen rushmore since forever ago, or some trivial injustice) and watch [Rushmore] once again. i piddled about the house while is was on, but it was comforting nonetheless as the wine peeps teri had on fresh air were both charming and gut-wrenchingly repulsive with all their lack of pretension pretension, but you know.
So, from the soundtrack of said movie are Cat Stevens and The Wind, terrorist ALERT!, and The Faces with Ohh La LA.

hey momma, you've might of heard of "the my space" that all the kids are into these days. while facewhatevs might have taken over the so-called peer to peer networking blee blah, music is still ignored there.
So, paired with a couple you tube videos and a single from the early tapes, are the local bands respective my space pages. bookmark them and occasionally check in to see if they've blogged something cray cray important about the status of The Band, or if they'll be playing @ a bar near you any time soon. an in-store @ hastings? an acoustic set show at the barnes and noble etc, perhaps?
